I grew up in South Bend, Indiana where I graduated high school in 1991. I started my college career at Adrian College and decided to transfer to the University of Toledo in 1993. I graduated from the University of Toledo in 1995 and from there I graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and have followed my love of veterinary medicine ever since. Ohio has always felt like home to me, in large part due to our beautiful Metroparks. I love the awe inspiring scenery that is ever changing with the seasons, and getting to take that in while walking dogs and connecting with friends.

Jen was trained as a veterinary assistant and then worked her way up to Practice Manager. During the pandemic, Jen and her husband sold everything and moved into an RV with their dogs. After travelling cross country, they decided that the Toledo area spoke to their hearts.

Jen and her husband have three dogs- Wolfhounds Gemma and Rowena and little Shih Tzu mix Bones. When not working, they enjoy festivals (especially Renaissance fests,) lots of walks, and camping. She also loves reading and volunteering at a local farm with a focus on husbandry and education.
